Welcome

Kevin Lynes

I've been Kent County Councillor since 2001, and have loved every minute of it. My constituency comprises the wards of Pembury, Sherwood and St James', and over the years, working with local Borough councillors and local residents, we've really made a difference. On roads and pavements, on things for young people to do, on the safety of our communities. There are some real successes:

  • The new TN2 Community Centre in Sherwood
  • Pembury's Community Warden
  • The Little Foresters Children's Centre
  • Rescuing Pembury's youth activity after the YMCA ended
  • Stopping a useless park 'n' ride bus route in Oak Road

But there's much more to do, and with the County Elections coming up in June 2009, I need your help. Dropping a few leaflets; maybe coming out with us to knock a few doors and find out from local people what they want for their area. If you have a few hours spare either before or during the election, let me know by clicking on the "Want To Help?" link on this page. Enjoy the site and tell me what you think!
